About This Course
This course provides comprehensive training in **SAP BASIS**, the core technical administration module for all SAP systems. You will learn to manage the entire SAP landscape, from installation and configuration to daily monitoring and maintenance. The curriculum covers essential topics like **User Administration** (PFCG), the **Change and Transport System (STMS)**, system monitoring (SM50, ST22), background job management, and applying system patches and kernel upgrades.
What You Will Learn
You will gain hands-on skills in key SAP BASIS domains:
- **System Landscape:** Configure the 3-tier landscape (DEV, QAS, PRD) and manage clients and system profiles.
- **User & Security:** Master User Administration (SU01) and create/manage Roles and Authorizations using PFCG.
- **Transport Management:** Configure and manage the Change and Transport System (STMS) to move developments across the landscape.
- **System Monitoring:** Perform daily health checks, monitor work processes (SM50), analyze system logs (SM21), and manage background jobs (SM37).
- **System Maintenance:** Learn to apply support packages (SPAM), update kernels, and manage printer (spool) administration.
Prerequisites
A foundational understanding of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, databases) is required. Familiarity with Linux/Windows operating systems is highly beneficial. No prior SAP experience is necessary.
